IT Student (m/w/d) 20 hours/Week

DEFINET offers a comprehensive service for financial advisory firms. With around 70 employees at our locations in Eschborn & Hannover, we take over all back-office topics related to sales support, processing, and IT for our customers.

We offer our partners a holistic product portfolio: insurance, investments, financing, real estate, assets, and more. Our highly qualified experts support financial advisors completely independently.

Tasks

• Support in operational IT infrastructure and user support
• Administration and maintenance of workstations, user accounts, and access rights
• Participation in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
• Processing of support requests (1st- and 2nd-level) and documentation of solutions
• Support for operating server, network, and cloud infrastructures
• Participation in IT rollouts, updates, and IT projects
• Maintenance of IT documentation and guides
• Closely working with internal departments and external service providers

Qualification

• Ongoing (Fach-) university studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field or an IT-related training with corresponding qualifications
• Basic knowledge of Windows- and/or Linux environments
• Interest in IT infrastructure, IT support, and system administration
• First experiences with:
• Client operating systems (Windows, possibly macOS)
• Networks (TCP/IP, VPN, WLAN – basic understanding)
• Microsoft 365 / Active Directory advantageous
• Structured, service-oriented work approach
• High willingness to learn and team ability
• Very good German and good English skills
