Help build the IT backbone of one of Germany's leading digital health companies.

At Vivira, you'll do much more than reset passwords or set up laptops. As a working student in IT & Security, you'll help ensure that a rapidly growing digital health company in Berlin runs smoothly every day: from onboarding new colleagues, managing modern SaaS applications, to supporting our security infrastructure.

You'll work side-by-side with experienced colleagues, gain practical experience in a modern, cloud-based environment, and contribute to technology that helps thousands of patients manage their back pain with Germany's first permanently reimbursable digital health application (DiGA).

If you're studying computer science (or a related field) and want to gain real practical experience in IT & Security instead of just an internship title, we look forward to meeting you.

• IT Helpdesk & Technical Support: You will support the Vivira IT Helpdesk and provide first-level support for software, tools, and general troubleshooting remotely and on-site.

• On-site Infrastructure: Some tasks can be done remotely, but you will regularly be in our office at Mindspace Stadtmitte to actively assist with IT hardware and security infrastructure.

• Onboarding & Offboarding: You will support IT onboarding and offboarding, from the physical setup of the office to preparing hardware for new colleagues and retrieving it from departing employees.

• SaaS Administration: You will help manage various SaaS applications, user accounts, and access rights.

• Hardware Maintenance: You will also handle repairs and replacements of devices to ensure our team is always well-equipped.

• Network Infrastructure: You will support the monitoring of our network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and VPN solutions.

• Documentation: You will help keep system configurations, policies, and processes up-to-date.

• IT Security: You will support security initiatives such as access management, endpoint security, MFA, and device compliance.

What you'll learn with us

Practical experience that most students only read about in lectures:

• Modern Apple/macOS administration & endpoint management (MDM)

• Cloud-based IT infrastructure and SaaS administration

• Identity & Access Management (IAM) and IT Security fundamentals

• Device lifecycle management

• IT operations in a regulated digital health environment

• Support for distributed, remote-first working teams

You'll work with a modern, cloud-first toolset, including MDM for our Apple fleet, single sign-on and IAM, a leading productivity suite, and current endpoint security and network solutions. We'll introduce you to the complete stack in the first interview.

• You are currently enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or another technical degree program at a university in or around Berlin.

• You can regularly work from our office at Mindspace Stadtmitte, right in the center of Berlin.

• You have a solid understanding of macOS and enjoy solving technical problems.

• You are interested in IT administration, infrastructure, and information security.

• You enjoy helping others and communicate in a friendly and service-oriented manner.

• You work in a structured, reliable, and proactive way.

• You speak fluent English and have at least B1 level German, as you will regularly support colleagues on-site.

• First experience through your own projects, internships, or student jobs (working student, HiWi, IT support) is a plus, but not a requirement.

• Compensation: €16–€20 per hour, depending on experience, for a 20-hour working student position that fits around your studies.

• How many hours per week? 20 hours during the semester, flexibly scheduled around your studies.

• Where is the job? In Berlin-Mitte at Mindspace Stadtmitte, with a hybrid setup: you'll work partly on-site, partly remotely.

• Do I need to speak German? German at B1 level is sufficient; our working language is English.

• Do I need work experience? No. Genuine interest in IT administration and security plus solid macOS skills are what count.
