We are currently looking for a student to support our IT team in Halsbrücke near Freiberg.

Student IT-Administration / IT-Support (m/w/d)

You are studying computer science, business informatics or information technology and want to apply your knowledge from your studies in practice? At G.E.O.S., you will work in the IT team on real tasks: system administration, user support and ongoing IT projects in a professional IT infrastructure. Practical experience that counts in your CV.

Aufgaben

• Support for the administration and maintenance of our IT infrastructure
• Participation in First-Level-Support: acceptance, processing and documentation of disturbances
• Setup, deployment and maintenance of hardware and software
• Assignment and management of access rights and permissions
• Installation, updating and documenting software
• Participation in ongoing IT projects

Qualifikation

• Study of computer science, business informatics, information technology or a comparable field (at least 2nd semester)
• Interest in IT administration, system maintenance and user support
• Basic knowledge of: Windows/Linux BS, network, databases, PC hardware, IP telephony
• Teamwork and clear understandable communication
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills
