Job description

As a Working Student Industrialization Engineering PCBA, you will support our Industrialization Engineers in the introduction of new products. You will help with practical and administrative tasks, ensuring products are well-prepared before entering production.

Bring what you learn during your studies into practice with us! Will we speak to you soon?

You will contribute to the preparation, documentation, and improvement of production processes by, among other things, creating work instructions, managing technical documentation, and processing product and process data. Additionally, you will provide support during the initial production build, inspect parts and documentation, and assist in preparing wiring, tooling, and workstations.

What will you do?

  • You will work in a multifunctional customer team, supporting one or more Industrialization Engineers with the introduction of new products (NPI).

  • You will create Work Instruction Procedures (WPIs) based on the build sequence provided by the Industrialization Engineers.

  • You will assist with importing and processing customer data, making it suitable for recording in our own systems.

  • You will support with making proto orders production-ready.

  • You will provide support during proto builds, collect feedback from operators, and align it with the Industrialization Engineer before processing it into the WPIs.

  • You will provide input for the proto evaluation report to the Industrialization Engineer.

You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience with new product introductions (NPIs), technical documentation, and production processes within our high-tech manufacturing environment!

Where will you make a difference?

You will relieve engineers of executive tasks within NPI projects. This not only increases efficiency but also creates more room for process optimization and (technical) improvement projects. In short; you will not only learn from us, but we will also learn from, and thanks to, you!

What does Benchmark offer?

You will have the opportunity to gain relevant practical experience alongside your studies within our international high-tech organization. You will work with experienced manufacturing engineers and gain insight into how new electronic products are introduced in a high-tech production environment. Furthermore, you will be given the freedom to take responsibility, develop new skills, and apply the knowledge from your education directly in practice. You will join an informal and collegial work environment where collaboration, initiative, and personal development are central. This way, you will not only contribute to innovative products but also to your own professional development.

Additionally, we offer:

  • Good salary: €3,064 gross per month on a full-time basis.

  • Quarterly bonus: this is turnover-dependent and can amount to a maximum of 5% of your quarterly salary.

  • Vacation: enjoy 40 days off per year on a full-time basis (27 vacation days and 13 ATV days).

  • Room for growth and development opportunities: for example, by participating in one of the many training courses offered by our Benchmark Academy.

  • Flexible working hours: as long as you ensure your work is completed, we offer the possibility to arrange your working hours flexibly.

  • Participation in our BE-Fit program: exercise with colleagues at Benchmark's expense. Together, we have already done kickboxing, cross-fit, and taken padel clinics.

What do we look for in our future colleague?

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and are available 1 to 2 days per week.

  • You can read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.

  • You work accurately and enjoy documenting technical information in a clear manner.

  • You have a good command of the Dutch language.

  • You are eager to learn and want to gain experience in a high-tech production environment.
