Finance & Strategy Intern (m/w/d)

Tasks

You won't get any classic intern work here, but real responsibility. You'll take over operational finance topics directly from management, including actual influence on decision-making and can really make something happen.

• Reporting & Evaluations: You'll build regular reports & evaluations and make essential key figures visible to management.
• Accounting & Document Management: You'll prepare accounting, review incoming invoices, and ensure nothing is left behind
• Controlling & Forecasting: Forecasts, budgets, comparison of actual vs. planned: you'll bring structure to the numbers & recognize deviations before they become a problem.
• Process Improvement: You'll identify where manual steps can be automated and bring your own proposals for how finance at Soley can run more efficiently and scalably.
• Maintaining Interfaces: You'll work closely with management & accounting together and ensure that finance topics are reliably & smoothly processed.
• Ad-hoc Analyses: Sometimes a business case, sometimes research, sometimes a decision-ready presentation for the CEO; you'll turn questions into quick answers

Qualification

• You're studying Master's in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable program with finance-related focus & have at most 1 year of study time left.
• You've gained first-hand experience in the finance sector.
• Excel is second nature to you; DATEV or Personio you'll learn quickly
• You think numerically: structured, meticulous, always with a view to what's essential
• You enjoy trying out KI-Tools and know how to use them meaningfully
• You take responsibility, prioritize clearly, and don't lose quality in the process
• Very good German language skills (C1+), good English language skills
