You want to combine theory and practice perfectly, get excited about electronics, and actively shape the future of the elevator industry? At our location in Cologne, you'll dive deep into the world of hardware development and be integrated as a full-fledged team member from the start.

You'll support our development engineers at our site in Cologne in conceiving, testing, and optimizing high-innovative control systems.

Join us as: Student Assistant in Hardware Development (m/w/d)

Tasks

  • Supporting the development process: You'll accompany our engineers in developing and redesigning analog and digital circuits.
  • Prototype building & laboratory: You'll assist in setting up, commissioning, and testing prototypes as well as soldering test circuits.
  • Measurement technology & documentation: You'll conduct measurements and EMV tests according to specifications and document the test results carefully.
  • You'll take over researching and selecting electronic components and maintain the component data in our system.

Qualification

  • Ongoing studies: You're pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
  • Initial professional knowledge: Ideally, you have initial experience with circuit diagram and layout tools as well as basic knowledge of measurement technology.
  • Handicraft skills: Enjoy practical work, such as soldering components.
  • Soft skills: A structured, self-reliant working style, analytical thinking, and a high level of team fit.
  • Linguistic skills: Good German language skills and ideally English language skills in writing and speaking.
