Student Assistant in Controlling (m/w/d)

We are looking for a student assistant who is excited about challenging and creative tasks with plenty of room to shape their own work. Our open-minded team works every day with great enthusiasm to achieve our strategy. We develop touchless sensors that can measure forces like torque, bending, and shearing, and we want to use our highly innovative technology together with our customers to solve the challenges for megatrends such as digitalization, Industry 4.0, and electromobility in a dynamic environment. Our national and international customers include numerous Formula 1 teams as well as companies from the fitness and e-bike sectors.

Tasks

You will take on the following tasks with us immediately within the framework of a student assistantship:

• You will support the development of a model for allocating costs to our products/services (cost accounting).
• You will analyze existing data from accounting and cost center accounting.
• You will help build an actual contribution margin statement in Excel or our ERP system.
• You will support project controlling.
• You will document the new workflow in writing, so that it can be anchored long-term in the controlling department.

Qualification

• You are studying economics, business administration (BWL), or a comparable field of study (ideally advanced bachelor's or master's degree).
• You have initial theoretical or practical knowledge of internal accounting (cost and performance accounting, particularly cost center and contribution margin accounting).
• You bring very good knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. pivot tables, SVERWEIS/XVERWEIS).
• First experiences with ERP systems or BI tools are a plus.
• You think analytically, work structured, and have no hesitation in proactively approaching colleagues.
• You possess secure German language skills and very good English language skills in both spoken and written form.
