Working Student Group Accounting & Consolidation (m/f/d)

• You will work closely with the Expert Consolidation and Controlling and – after an introduction – take on tasks according to your level of knowledge.
• You will support the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements of the group companies in LucaNet.
• You will participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS.
• You will also participate in classic consolidation measures (e.g., equity, debt, expense, and income consolidation).
• You will maintain consolidation scopes, shareholding structures, and master data.
• You will check the reporting packages of individual group companies for completeness and plausibility.
• You will gradually take over the independent support of selected companies, including coordination with local finance teams.
• You will also support the introduction and implementation of IFRS-relevant standards within the group.
• You will participate in projects for the optimization, standardization, and further development of group financial statement and consolidation processes.
• You will help to further develop the LucaNet structures and reports.
• You will prepare evaluations, reports, and ad-hoc analyses for internal and external purposes.

You bring the following with you:

• You are currently studying Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a comparable field of study.
• You already have basic knowledge of external accounting and an interest in financial statements.
• You find topics such as consolidated financial statements and consolidation exciting.
• You have a basic understanding of IFRS; knowledge of Dutch GAAP is nice to have, but not a must.
• You are interested in accounting and valuation issues as well as the reconciliation from Local GAAP to IFRS.
• You have a confident command of Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• First experience with reporting or consolidation tools (e.g., LucaNet) or financial systems is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• You are happy to be in the office regularly; increased on-site presence is important, especially in the second week of the month (e.g., as part of the closing phase).
