Werkstudent HR Operations (m/w/d)

About the Position

Not every company has its own HR department – and that's where I come in. I support start-ups, scale-ups, and medium-sized companies in operational personnel management – from personnel administration to on-boarding and off-boarding, as well as optimizing HR processes.

As the number of my customer projects continues to grow, I am looking for support in HR Operations. This position is aimed at students who have already gained practical experience in operational HR and want to deepen their knowledge in diverse customer projects.

The Role

HR Operations is the foundation of a functioning personnel department.

Whether it's employment contracts, on-boarding, certifications, personnel files or digital HR processes – you support me in ensuring that HR processes at my customers are reliable, professional, and efficient. You work directly on real customer projects and learn about different companies, industries, and HR structures. Instead of processing the same procedures every day for one company, you gain insights into various organizations and develop your skills much faster.

Tasks

Your Tasks

👥 HR Operations

• Support along the entire Employee Lifecycles
• Creation of employment contracts, addenda, certifications, and other HR documents
• Preliminary preparation for job entries and exits
• Maintenance of digital personnel files and master data
• Support in administrative HR processes

📂 Personnel Administration

• Creation and review of personal relevant documents
• Support in deadlines and document management
• Communication with customers and external contacts
• Preliminary preparation for HR evaluations and reports
• Participation in labor law standard topics

🚀 Process Optimization

• Analyze existing HR processes
• Development of more efficient workflows
• Support in digitalization projects
• Participation in standards, templates, and documentation
• Support in introducing and optimizing HR systems, particularly Personio

Qualification

You bring this with you

✔ You are currently studying at a university or college.

✔ You have already gained practical experience in operational HR – for example, as a work student or intern in a personnel department.

✔ The Employee Lifecycle is not unknown to you and you have already worked with administrative HR processes.

✔ Ideally, you know Personio or a comparable HR system.

✔ You work carefully, reliably, and independently.

✔ You handle confidential information discreetly.

✔ Very good German language skills in writing and speaking.

I am not looking for support for pure routine work. I am looking for someone who already has some experience in operational HR, thinks ahead and wants to take responsibility.

You do not work in a classical personnel department, but learn about the HR world from a consulting perspective. This gives you insights into different companies, develops your skills quickly, and allows you to actively shape the build-up of a modern HR consulting company.
