Working Student Graphic Design & Digital Design (m/f/d) Figma, Web Design & Branding

Part Time Entry Level

Job description

You turn ideas into a strong visual presence.

A presentation isn't just a collection of slides for you. A website needs to not only function but also feel right. And when typography, spacing, or colors don't match, do you notice it immediately?

Then we are looking for exactly you.

As a Working Student Graphic Design & Digital Design (m/f/d), you will support us in consistently developing Nelta's visual presence – from presentations and social media content to digital marketing materials and websites and landing pages.

You are not just supposed to implement existing designs. We want you to think along, develop your own ideas, and create solutions with us that are modern, high-quality, and unmistakably Nelta.

If you are proficient with Figma, have a good eye for modern design, and are eager to implement your ideas in real projects, we want to get to know you.

At Nelta, we offer our clients a first-class service portfolio consisting of innovative solutions as well as integrated and holistic services. We place great emphasis on our corporate values – Vision, Commitment, Focus, Transparency, and Respect – and shape our daily work accordingly!

Tasks

Your tasks as a Working Student Graphic Design & Digital Design (m/f/d):

  • You design high-quality presentations, graphics, and visual concepts for internal and external communication.
  • You develop modern websites and landing pages from the initial idea to the final design.
  • You create social media content and other digital marketing materials.
  • You continuously develop existing designs, presentations, and templates.
  • You consistently work within our branding and corporate design guidelines and further develop them together with us.
  • You independently implement your ideas in Figma into compelling designs and prototypes.
  • You deal with typography, colors, imagery, layout, and digital brand experiences.
  • You develop creative design ideas and actively contribute your own impulses to our projects.
  • You ensure that our visual communication remains consistent and high-quality across different channels.
  • You work closely with Marketing, Management, and other internal teams.
  • You support us in preparing complex content in a visually understandable and appealing way.
  • Depending on your experience, you can not only conceptualize designs but also implement them directly as modern websites, for example with Framer.

A day full of possibilities: This is what your workday with us could look like!

You start your day with a quick look at the current design projects. Some visuals are missing for an important client presentation, and two slides urgently need more than just a minor retouch. You revise the layout in Figma, bring structure to the content, and ensure that a good presentation becomes a compelling visual appearance.

After that, it's time for our website. The basic concept for a new landing page is already there, now you develop a modern design from it. You try out different layouts, focus on typography, imagery, and responsive display, and coordinate your ideas directly with our team.

In the afternoon, social media is on the agenda. For a new post, you develop a visual concept that fits our branding but also tries something new. You don't just work through a task list: If you have a better idea, we want to hear it.

In the meantime, you notice that one of our existing templates no longer fits the current visual appearance. Instead of just continuing to use it, you develop a suggestion for improvement and present your idea to the team.

By the end of the day, you have not only created individual designs but have visibly contributed to how Nelta is perceived as a brand.

Qualification

We are a match if you...

  • are currently enrolled at a college or university – ideally in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Media Design, Digital Design, or a comparable course of study.
  • have very good knowledge of Figma and have practical experience with it.
  • have a strong sense for typography, colors, imagery, layout, and modern digital brand presences.
  • think of design not just as "beautiful," but as functional, understandable, and consistent.
  • work independently, structurally, and reliably.
  • are creative and eager to actively contribute your own ideas.
  • can understand and consistently apply existing branding and corporate design guidelines.
  • have a high quality standard and also see the details that others might not immediately notice.
  • are open to feedback and want to develop your designs further together with others.
  • ideally can already present a portfolio or meaningful work samples.

Nice to have

We are especially pleased if you also...

  • have already gained experience with Framer and the implementation of modern websites.
  • can work with the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
  • have already designed social media content.
  • have a basic understanding of responsive web design.
  • have gained initial experience with animations or motion design.
  • are enthusiastic about current design trends, digital products, and modern brand presences.

You don't have to meet every one of these points. What is crucial for us is that you have a strong sense for design, good Figma skills, and the desire to contribute creatively and develop yourself.
