Work Student - Full-Stack Developer (m/w/d) - React, JavaScript, Node.js & AWS Amplify

As Work Student (m/w/d) in full-stack development, you will be part of a rapidly growing tech company and work on Aufmaster, the leading platform for digital cable documentation. You will support our team in developing and further developing features with React, JavaScript, Node.js, and AWS.

At Aufmaster, you develop software for real makers - people who rely on stable, performant, and well-thought-out applications in their daily work. Our solution connects built sites, warehouses, and offices in real-time and is already used in over 34 countries.

A special feature of Aufmaster is the combination of software and a unique smart cable length measurement device worldwide. Exactly this combination makes development at our company particularly exciting:

Data is generated directly on construction sites and in warehouses for 1,000+ customers worldwide and must be reliably processed, synchronized, and made available in the app. You will work with us to ensure that these processes are implemented cleanly and scalable - from backend to APIs to frontend.

You are a permanent part of the product and development team and work closely with UX/UI and Customer Success. You can bring your own ideas, receive continuous feedback, and gain valuable practical experience in developing modern, productive software with real added value.

Tasks

As a work student in development, you will directly work on our cloud application and support us in further developing frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

You are not just a junior developer, but part of the development team and get genuine insights into modern product development - from idea to live operation.

• Supporting the development of our web application (React)
• Collaborating on backend services with Node.js
• Working with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Supporting cloud topics around AWS Amplify (Auth, API, Hosting)
• Bug fixing, small features, and technical improvements
• Closely working with UX/UI designers and the development team in an agile environment

Qualification

• Enrolled student in the field of computer science, software engineering, media informatics or comparable
• First practical experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Fundamental knowledge of React and Node.js
• Interest in cloud technologies (AWS is advantageous but not a must)
• Independent, structured working style and willingness to take responsibility
• Good German or English skills
