Working Student Engineering (m/f/d) - Analysis and Development of Automation Solutions for Assembly Lines

Do you want to gain practical experience in mechanical engineering, automation technology, or industrial engineering and contribute to a real investment and construction decision?
As part of a technical project, you will investigate possibilities to connect our existing assembly lines for aerosol valves to a future automated carton transfer. You will work closely with our engineering experts and gain insights into the evaluation and development of industrial automation solutions.

• Analysis of ten existing assembly lines regarding their carton interfaces
• Recording, documentation, and categorization of different system concepts
• Research and evaluation of possible conveying systems and automation solutions
• Development of various technical solution approaches for connecting the systems
• Creation of a catalog of criteria for technical and economic evaluation
• Comparison of external supplier solutions with possible in-house developments regarding functionality, costs, and implementation effort
• Development of a recommendation for decision-making for further procedures
• Optional: Support in the design and elaboration of your own technical solution

• Participation in a practical engineering project with a direct impact on future production concepts
• Insights into automation technology, conveying technology, and industrial production processes
