Working Student Procurement for Civil Engineering and Planning Services in Fiber Optic Expansion (m/f/d)

Would you like to gain practical experience while still studying and participate in challenging infrastructure projects? Then support our procurement team in sourcing civil engineering and planning services for fiber optic expansion. Depending on your interests, knowledge, and skills, we have tasks in operational and/or strategic procurement areas. Together, we will find tasks that suit you and give you the opportunity to develop professionally and personally:

• You will dive directly into operational and strategic procurement for fiber optic expansion projects. From the procurement of civil engineering and planning services to order processing and documentation. This way, you will learn real practice, not just theory.
• You will be actively involved in tender processes: You will prepare documents, obtain quotes, review and compare them, and participate in award decisions as well as the preparation of price and contract negotiations.
• You will gain deep insight into the market: You will research prices, suppliers, and offers, maintain purchasing, supplier, and contract data, and create analyses and presentations to sharpen your analytical thinking.
• You will work with various departments such as Technology, Planning, Project Management, and Controlling, and actively contribute to the further development and optimization of our procurement processes, thus learning about the interplay within the company.
• After your induction, you will take on your own tasks and smaller projects in procurement.

• You are enrolled and ideally studying Business Administration, Business Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Law, or a comparable degree program and are interested in procurement for civil engineering and planning services.
• Ideally, you have initial practical experience from internships or working student positions, enjoy procurement processes and commercial contexts, and work carefully, structurally, and reliably.
• You have a basic understanding and interest in the technical, organizational, and legal processes related to civil engineering and planning services and want to expand this knowledge.
• You are proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
• You are happy to approach colleagues as well as internal and external contact persons openly, enjoy working in a team, and bring initiative to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
