To support our team in the Cologne office, we are looking for a motivated Werkstudent in eCommerce (m/w/d), who is eager to take on real responsibility and actively shape the world of online trade.

Aufgaben

Product data maintenance & article management

• Continuous maintenance, updating, and optimization of existing product listings on Zalando, eBay, OTTO, and Galeria.
• Participation in the creation of new product listings – also for future market launches.
• Structured preparation and maintenance of all relevant product data (texts, attributes, variants, images).

Content optimization & SEO

• Creation, revision, and search engine optimization of product texts (titles, bullet points, descriptions).
• Optimization of image and text content (Rich Content) in close coordination with the eCommerce and marketing team, as well as external partners.

Marketplace operations

• Support in planning, execution, and coordination of sales actions, campaigns, and promotions.
• Ongoing monitoring and comparison of product availability during campaigns.
• Care and processing of customer inquiries on the respective marketplaces.

Additional tasks in the eCommerce context

• Support in analyzing performance, conversion, and reach data.
• Qualitative review of product data and ensuring marketplace conformity (mandatory attributes, image requirements, content quality).
• Tight collaboration with internal teams and the Belgian headquarters.
• Active participation in internal projects for process optimization and the development of new business areas.

Qualification

• You have an affinity for eCommerce, online marketplaces, and digital sales platforms in the D2C field. Ideally, you already have a basic understanding of how processes work from a customer's perspective.
• Good Excel skills (data preparation, basic formulas, first pivot experience) are a must for you.
• First experiences with SAP, PIM systems, or analytical tools are a plus – but not a must.
• You work structured, carefully, and reliably and take on responsibility.
• You are textually secure, have a good understanding of SEO, and can formulate product texts target-oriented and precisely.
• You have very good English skills, as you regularly work with our headquarters in Belgium.
• You are enrolled as a student (m/w/d) in a relevant field of study, such as business administration, business informatics, marketing, media management, eCommerce, or something comparable.
