Welcome to Webaro – your innovative partner in modern drone technology! You are studying Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or something similar and want to gain practical experience with modern technology alongside your studies? At our company, you will work on the maintenance, repair, and configuration of professional drone systems for industry and agriculture and gain deep insights into electronics, embedded software, and flight control.

You don't have to be a drone expert yet – we'll structure your learning. What's important to us are technical interest, willingness to learn, and a meticulous work approach.

We're looking for a work student (m/w/d) at our location in Eberstadt starting immediately, with flexible working hours that align with your schedule (up to 20 hours per week during the semester).

Tasks

Supporting maintenance, repair, and quality control of our drones

Assisting in diagnosing and analyzing electronic components (motors, ESC, flight controller, sensorics)

Configuring, calibrating, and updating firmware for flight control systems (e.g. ArduPilot, PX4, DJI)

Supporting software configuration and testing

Assisting in hardware integration of payloads (cameras, sensors) including wiring

Collaborating on technical documentation

Qualification

Ongoing studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields.

Basic understanding of electronics and/or programming (e.g. Python, C/C++)

First-hand experience with microcontrollers, robotics, model building/FPV, or embedded systems is a plus but not required.

High willingness to learn and enjoy independent learning

Meticulous and reliable work approach

Good German language skills and basic knowledge of English

Matriculation as a student for the entire employment period

Benefits

Flexible working hours that align with your schedule

Structured onboarding into modern drone systems (ArduPilot, PX4, DJI) – prior knowledge not required

Valeuable practical experience with modern technology for your studies

Opportunity to work on final projects (Bachelor/Master) within the company

Flat hierarchies and a motivated team

Free drinks

Sounds exciting? Then we look forward to your application – even if you don't meet all the points. Join our team and shape the future of drone technology with us!
