Working Student Data Science / Business Intelligence (m/f/d)

Berlin, Hannover, Leipzig, Munich, Passau or remote / working from home – you can support us independently of location

As a working student in product development, you will support us in analyzing, preparing, and translating data from internal systems as well as from our hospital information system M-KIS into understandable reports and dashboards. You will work at the interface of IT, specialist departments, and other stakeholders and can directly apply your knowledge from your studies in practice. You will be onboarded and mentored by experienced colleagues. This way, you can gradually take on more responsibility and work on your own topics related to data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence in healthcare IT.

• You will work at the interface between specialist departments, IT, and other stakeholders and translate requirements into meaningful reports and dashboards
• You will support the conception and implementation of reports and dashboards with Power BI
• You will analyze and prepare data from various source systems, e.g. with SQL
• You will develop data models and DAX calculations for the preparation of key figures
• You will participate in the automation and optimization of reporting processes

• You are studying Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Information Management, Health Informatics, Medical Informatics, eHealth, Digital Health, or a comparable degree program
• You have initial practical experience with Microsoft Power BI (reports, dashboards, DAX) from working student positions, study projects, or personal projects
• You have knowledge of working with SQL databases
• Ideally, you have had initial contact with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, or data preparation processes
• You bring team spirit and strong communication skills and enjoy exchanging ideas with different specialist departments
• You work in a structured and reliable manner and have high quality standards
• You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken (at least C1)
