Job description

We are hey contact heroes, a customer service provider from the heart of Hamburg, in the center of HafenCity. Since 2021, we have been looking after customers for brands such as Telefónica, 1&1, Universal Music, Check24, Hamburg Wasser, and enviaM by phone, email, and chat. More than 500 team members work remotely for us across Europe, and in recent years we have grown by 8 to 10 percent each year.

A lot of data is generated here every day: call volume, processing times, quality values, shift schedules, revenue per project. To make even more of it, we are looking for someone who loves numbers and enjoys building things at the same time. The position is 100% remote and can be filled from anywhere in Europe.

Tasks

You will analyze our data from all projects and turn it into reports and dashboards that management, project management, and customers can really work with. You will set up and maintain databases, ensuring that data from telephony, ticketing, and CRM systems runs together cleanly. You will read data from interfaces and exports, clean it up, and bring it into a reliable structure.

A large part of your work is automation. You will build workflows and automated processes, for example with n8n, Make, or your own scripts, so that recurring analyses, data comparisons, and reports run without manual effort. You will work closely with our project management teams and our IT department and contribute your own ideas on what can be solved more easily and faster.

Qualification

You have a deep understanding of numbers and can quickly recognize whether a key figure is correct or if something doesn't fit. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL. You are comfortable with common data formats such as CSV, JSON, XML, and Excel, and REST interfaces are nothing new to you.

You can program, ideally in Python or JavaScript, and have already built workflows or automations, preferably with tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, or Metabase is a plus. Whether you have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or Statistics, or have acquired the knowledge in practice, is not so important to us. What matters is what you can do.

You work independently and in a structured manner, document cleanly, and explain complex contexts in a way that everyone understands. You speak German at a native level or at least C1/C2, and good English rounds off your profile.

Benefits

You work 100% remotely, regardless of whether you live in Germany, Spain, Poland, or another European country. You will work with exciting data from many different customer projects and have a lot of creative freedom because you will help build structures here rather than just managing them. Our processes are short, decisions are made quickly, and you work directly with management. In addition, there is a team that supports each other, and an employer that is growing.

Sounds like you? Then apply directly here via JOIN with your CV and gladly a few sentences or examples of what analyses or automations you have already built. We will discuss everything else regarding contract type, hours, and compensation together in the first interview. We look forward to hearing from you!
