Student Assistant Corporate Finance & Controlling (m/w/d) – Focus CAPEX, Cashflow & Reporting

Your Tasks
We are looking for an engaged student assistant (m/w/d), who supports our Corporate Finance & Controlling Team in the operational implementation – with a focus on CAPEX transparency, cash flow management, and reporting. You will work closely with the Team Lead Corporate Finance & Controlling and receive deep insights into the financial management of a growing corporate group.
As part of our team, you will:
Monthly Closing & Cash Forecast Support
- Preparation for the monthly closing (coordinations, controls, data checks, plausibilities)
- Support in preparing the weekly cash forecast, including data preparation and reconciliation
- Preliminary preparation of bank-side reporting documents according to the reporting plan (term- & quality-focused)
CAPEX Controlling & Analyses Create
- CAPEX should/actual analyses per district and general contractor (GU) – including monthly forecast
- Presentation of cost and performance dimensions (budget vs. forecast vs. actual) for transparency
- Support in deriving anomalies and short-term recommendations
Year-End Closing & Planning Processes Accompany
- Preparation for the year-end closing (e.g., provisions, adjustments, controls, coordination reviews)
- Participation in the annual planning process (data consolidation, templates, evaluations, versions)
This Defines You
- Enrolled study of economics, business administration, finance, accounting, controlling or similar
- Very good Excel skills (Pivot, SVERWEIS/XVERWEIS, data preparation; ideal: PowerQuery)
- Analytical, structured, and very meticulous working style (terms & quality are crucial for us)
- Very good German language skills, good English language skills
- Reliability, self-initiative, and willingness to take responsibility
- Readiness to be on site in Düsseldorf during the week (remote up to 50% possible)
