Work Student Content Management (m/w/d)

We are speisekarte(.)de, the specialist for digital menus and online restaurant guides. Since 2008 we have been helping gourmands in Germany to follow their own taste and discover something new culinary.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a/n Work Student/in Content Management (m/w/d) in Nürnberg, who will support us with 16-20 hours per week. speisekarte(.)de is part of the gutefrage(.)net GmbH, which has been operating the largest question-answer platform in the German-speaking region since 2006.

Aufgaben

What tasks await you?

• You will take over the update and maintenance of our gastronomic database, i.e. restaurant data, such as kitchen direction and contact details - in Germany and on our international pages.
• You will review User Generated Content / UGC-Elements (images, ratings) based on our guidelines and release them for publication.
• You will also support the categorization and maintenance of our food dictionary (thesaurus), for example in relation to ingredients or allergens.
• You will research dishes and/or ingredients and
• support in the preparation of statistics and analyses.

Qualifikation

What you bring with you?

• You are currently studying full-time at a state-recognized university and would like to join us for at least 6 months, preferably longer.
• During the semester, you have 16-20 hours per week available for us - in the semester holidays, you can also work more.
• You have very good German language skills in writing and speaking and are a pro at spelling.
• You work carefully, conscientiously, and already have experience with Excel or Google Spreadsheet.
• Ideal would be if you had basic knowledge of Dutch or Portuguese.
• You are motivated and always a good team player.

• In the semester holidays, you are welcome to work more than 16-20 hours per week.
• We work hybrid, i.e. you have the opportunity to work part-time (about 50%) from home office.
• You will receive a hourly wage of €14.50.
