Working Student Consulting - Healthcare IT & Hospital Processes (m/f/d)

We are looking for support at our locations in Leipzig or Berlin

How do digital processes in a hospital really work? And how does a good software solution become an application that doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff gladly use in their daily work? As a working student in our project team, you will have the opportunity to learn exactly that. You will support our consultants in the implementation of our hospital information system and gain practical insight into healthcare IT, clinical processes, and digitalization projects. You will combine your studies with real project work: you will assist in preparing workshops, analyze requirements and processes, and work on customer projects.

• You will support our consultants in digitalization and software implementation projects in hospitals
• You will contribute to the preparation of workshops, customer meetings, and presentations
• Depending on the project phase, you will also support training or the preparation and execution of go-lives
• You will research technical and process-related issues and prepare your findings in a structured manner
• You will gain insights into different areas of our hospital information system, e.g., medication, intensive care, operating room, patient administration, or medical documentation
• You will work closely with experienced consultants and other departments at Meierhofer, learning how healthcare IT projects function from requirements to implementation

• You are studying, for example, Medical Informatics, Medicine, Nursing Science, Health Economics, Health Management, eHealth, Digital Health, Process Management, or a comparable degree program
• Ideally, you already have initial insights into hospital processes, for example, through an internship, vocational training, a working student position, or a study project
• You work in a structured, careful, and independent manner and are eager to take responsibility for your tasks
• You enjoy communicating confidently with various stakeholders
• You have very good German language skills (minimum C1 level)
• Ideally, you can support us with 15-20 hours per week during the semester
