Working Student – Compliance Management (m/f/d)

Our Compliance team, part of the Legal department, is small, agile, and ensures adherence to the laws and guidelines of the entire ottonova group, reporting directly to the Executive Board and Supervisory Board.

As a working student, you will not only be in a supporting role but will actively contribute to translating regulatory and internal requirements into pragmatic solutions, making a significant contribution to responsible corporate governance.

As a working student (m/f/d) in Compliance, you will support us in implementing and further developing legal and internal requirements. Your tasks in daily operations include:

• You will research legal, supervisory, and regulatory developments relevant to us and our daily operations
• You will assist us in identifying, assessing, and documenting compliance risks
• You will actively participate in the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., Whistleblower Protection Act, Insurance Supervision Act, DORA, Data Protection, and internal compliance regulations) within the company
• You will create and maintain guidelines, work instructions, and compliance documentation
• You will actively shape the preparation and execution of compliance training sessions, as well as internal communication measures
• You will support compliance controls and the follow-up of agreed-upon measures
• You will actively contribute to cross-departmental projects and assist with internal audits, as well as the preparation of reports for management

• You are enrolled at a German university and are studying Law, Business Law, Business Administration, or a comparable degree program
• You have an interest in regulatory issues as well as corporate governance, compliance, and risk management
• You possess very good German language skills, as well as good English language skills, both spoken and written
• You are proficient in using standard Microsoft Office applications

• You work independently, in a structured and precise manner, and can maintain an overview even with a multitude of complex topics
• You think analytically and enjoy preparing even complex issues in an understandable way
• You communicate clearly, professionally, and reliably, are team-oriented and dependable, and actively contribute to projects
