Working Student Business Operations – Automation & AI (m/f/d)

As a Working Student Business Operations – Automation & AI (m/f/d), you will work at the interface of data, automation, and operational processes and help us to increasingly establish our business operations as data-driven and automated.

A central part of your role is the further development of our internal business operations reporting. You will ensure that relevant key figures can be reliably displayed, clearly defined, and verifiably checked. At the same time, you will identify recurring manual processes and develop automations and AI-supported solutions for them.

You will receive a lot of responsibility and work with modern tools such as Claude Code, HubSpot, Zapier, APIs, and MCP integrations. This role is particularly suitable for you if you enjoy building technical solutions independently, critically questioning data, and not just managing existing processes, but actively improving them.

1. Reporting & Data

• You will further develop our Business Operations Dashboard with Claude Code and connect data from HubSpot and other systems.
• You will define relevant key figures together with the specialist departments and ensure that calculations, data sources, and logic are clearly documented.
• You will regularly check key figures against the respective source data and analyze possible discrepancies.
• You will identify data gaps and quality issues and work with the responsible teams to resolve them.

• You will identify recurring manual workflows and develop meaningful automations for them.
• You will implement workflows using tools such as Zapier, HubSpot Workflows, APIs, or your own scripts.
• You will monitor existing automations and continuously develop them further.
• You will document your solutions so that processes and technical logic remain understandable to others.

• You will develop AI-supported workflows and applications for our Business Operations.
• You will work with Claude and Claude Code and build integrations via MCP and APIs.
• You will meaningfully connect systems such as HubSpot, Notion, Slack, or Google Workspace.
• You will test new tools and approaches and evaluate where they can actually make our daily work more efficient.

• You will gather requirements from different teams and translate them into technical or automated solutions.
• You will assess effort and feasibility and prioritize your tasks transparently.
• You will work closely with Business Operations and other internal specialist departments.
• You will consciously receive a lot of responsibility and independently bring topics from idea to functioning solution.

• Studies & Availability: You are currently enrolled, for example, in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable degree program, and can support us with up to 20 hours per week.
• AI Coding & Technical Practice: You have already worked with Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools and ideally have built your own dashboards, analyses, automations, or other technical solutions.
• Data Understanding: You can handle data confidently and have practical knowledge in SQL and/or Python. You can systematically understand key figure logic, data sources, and potential error sources.
• Automation & APIs: You have already worked with tools like Zapier, n8n, or Make and understand basic concepts around REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks, and authentication.
• Programming: You have practical knowledge in Python or JavaScript and ideally have already worked with Git.
• CRM & Tools: Experience with HubSpot or another CRM is a plus. Knowledge of tools like Notion API, Monday, or Cloudflare Workers is also advantageous.
• Independence & Ownership: You do not require close supervision, but rather organize your tasks independently and reliably complete them.
• Diligence: You critically question numbers, check your results, and make data gaps or uncertainties transparent instead of ignoring them.
• Documentation & Communication: You document technical solutions comprehensibly and communicate early if requirements are unclear, if efforts change, or if you need support.
• Language: You can communicate confidently in German and have good English skills for technical documentation, tools, and APIs.

• Hands-on AI & Automation: You work daily with modern AI, coding, and automation tools and can apply new technologies directly in practice.
