Working Student Automation, AI & Workflows in Enterprise Risk Management (m/f/d)

Do you want to understand how a modern FinTech manages risks while simultaneously building real process improvements with automation and AI? In auxmoney's Enterprise Risk Management, you will work on our GRC platform (OneTrust) on workflows, integrations, and smart, AI-supported processes that make risk management more efficient and transparent.

We report directly to the CFO and bundle topics such as the Internal Control System, operational risks, incidents, third parties, and recurring confirmations from specialist departments in one central location. You will work closely with our team and the specialist departments, take on responsibility early on, and ensure that information is captured in a structured manner, tasks are clearly assigned, and status data flows into reporting without manual follow-up.

• Configure Workflows: You will develop workflows in our GRC software OneTrust, from analyzing the process to the final configuration with data fields, status logics, responsibilities, escalations, and automatic notifications.
• Integrate Systems: You will connect OneTrust via interfaces and modern workflow tools with other systems at auxmoney, for example Slack, SharePoint, or Outlook, so that specialist departments can provide status updates where they already work.
• Build Automations: You will identify recurring manual tasks and replace them with automations that request information, assign tasks, monitor deadlines, and trigger follow-up activities, for example, for regular confirmations from specialist departments or when reviewing our service providers.
• Apply AI Meaningfully: You will build concrete solutions for risk management with our AI modules, for example, for structuring information, preparing assessments, recognizing missing details, or summarizing reports, ensuring traceability and quality.
• Ensure Quality: You will develop test cases, check workflow logics and AI solutions before deployment, and document configurations, interfaces, and dependencies in a way that others can build upon them.
• Improve Reporting: You will ensure that information is captured completely and in a structured manner, and automatically transfer status data into clear overviews for management and the board.
• Work Flexibly: You will work flexibly from home. If you are studying near Düsseldorf, you will meet your team in the office once a week; otherwise, we will meet regularly digitally and for joint team days on-site.

• Enrollment and Experience: You are enrolled in a degree program in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a comparable field, and you have already gained practical experience with software, automations, or data, for example, during your studies, in a part-time job, or in personal projects.
• Technical Understanding: You enjoy understanding new software, configuring workflows, and grasping technical interrelationships. Bonus: Experience with workflow, low-code/no-code, ticketing, or GRC systems.
• Automation and AI Mindset: You want to discover how AI applications and automated workflows can improve risk management, and you critically question results instead of blindly relying on suggestions.
• Data and Interfaces: You think in terms of data structures and understand how systems communicate with each other via interfaces. Bonus: Initial knowledge of Excel, SQL, APIs, or process modeling.
• Structured Working: You break down complex processes into clear steps, work solution-oriented, and remain meticulous and reliable even with many details.
• Stakeholder Communication: You enjoy coordinating with different specialist departments, explaining technical concepts understandably, and communicating confidently in German and English.
