Job description
Your Mission at EEF
As a working student in Asset Management, you will support us in ensuring the technically safe and economically optimized operation of our wind turbines, solar parks, and battery storage systems.
You will work with technical operational data, reports, and approval requirements and prepare relevant information in a structured manner. You will gain insights into technical and commercial asset management and, with growing experience, will increasingly take on independent tasks.
Your Tasks
- Support Technical Plant Operation:
You will participate in monitoring our wind turbines, solar parks, and battery storage systems and assist in analyzing technical anomalies, as well as coordinating with plant manufacturers, operational managers, and external service providers. - Prepare Technical Data and Reports:
You will analyze operational data, create technical reports, evaluations, and overviews, and prepare comprehensible decision-making bases for asset management from this data. - Accompany Park Communication:
You will support topics related to SCADA interfaces, IP configurations, and the integration of our plants into remote monitoring. - Maintain Data Rooms and Documentation:
You will keep data rooms, service provider overviews, and technical documentation complete and up-to-date and assist in the structured recording of approval requirements. - Coordinate Stakeholders:
You will support collaboration with plant manufacturers, technical operational managers, service providers, and other external partners and keep track of open information and feedback. - Improve Processes:
You will identify potential improvements in our data structures, documentation, and workflows and contribute your own ideas for pragmatic solutions.
What You Bring
- Relevant Studies:
You are studying Industrial Engineering, Energy Management, Renewable Energies, Electrical Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study. - Technical and Economic Interest:
You want to understand how wind turbines, solar parks, and battery storage systems are operated, monitored, and economically managed. - Strong Learning Ability:
You quickly and independently familiarize yourself with new, complex topics, systems, and data structures. - Analytical and Structured Approach:
You can carefully evaluate information, recognize connections, and present results understandably. - High IT Affinity:
You enjoy working with digital systems and data and are proficient with Excel. - Initiative and Responsibility:
You think proactively, ask questions, and reliably follow through on assigned tasks. - Language Skills:
You have good German and English language skills.
Your Way of Working
You are curious and want to understand not only individual tasks but also the technical and commercial contexts behind them. You approach new questions openly and analytically and systematically work your way into previously unknown topics.
You carefully prepare information, document results comprehensibly, and contribute your own improvement ideas. In the team, you work reliably, committedly, and solution-oriented.
You do not need prior knowledge of our systems such as Rotorsoft, Sift Monitor, and opti.node. The crucial factor is that you are open to new applications and can quickly familiarize yourself with software, data structures, and processes.
What We Offer You
- Attractive Compensation Model: €18/hour for Bachelor's students, €21/hour for Master's students.
- Vacation Policy: 24 days of annual leave.
- Meal Subsidy: Monthly subsidy for lunch.
- Practical Insights into the Energy Industry:
You will work directly on wind, photovoltaic, and storage projects and get to know the operation of modern renewable energy plants. - Broad Professional Environment:
You will gain insights into technical and commercial asset management, as well as collaboration with control rooms, grid operators, direct marketers, plant manufacturers, and technical operational managers. - Gradual Responsibility:
After a structured onboarding, you will increasingly take on independent tasks as your expertise grows. - Long-Term Perspective:
With successful collaboration, you can build a strong foundation for your career entry and a potential future full-time position in Asset Management at EEF.
