Working Student Occupational Safety & Health Management (m/f/d)

Mission Brief

As the HSE team at Isar Aerospace, we ensure that all legal requirements for occupational safety, health, and environmental protection are met. Furthermore, we are committed to creating a safe and pleasant working environment and promoting sustainable approaches within the company. We develop suitable safety concepts, offer training where needed, and keep an eye on potential risks to best support our team and grow responsibly together.

Your Role in Our Space Mission: 

• Participation in exciting (also international) projects 
  • Dive into innovative HSE projects, support our team, and expand your expertise – also in an international environment
• Administrative tasks related to safety & health
  • Coordinate the provision of safety equipment, assist with first aid measures, and keep our documentation up to date
• Contribution to health promotion projects & networking
  • Engage in projects to promote health in the workplace and interact with internal and external partners
• Organization of training & workshops
  • Plan and assist in conducting workshops and training sessions to ensure the team stays up to date
• Shaping a positive and safe working environment
  • Work to ensure everyone feels comfortable and can work safely
• Creative content creation & digital HSE handbook
  • Create presentations and posts on current topics and further develop our digital HSE handbook
• On-site inspections and operational deployments 
  • Take on practical tasks on the company premises, e.g., through notices, photo documentation, or safety walkthroughs
• Creation of training materials
  • Develop internal presentations on HSE topics and contribute your own ideas
• Own projects based on interest
  • Seize the opportunity to contribute your own ideas e.g., on ergonomics, emergency plans, or fire protection and implement them independently

Qualification Checklist

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
• You have already gained initial practical experience – for example, through internships, part-time jobs, or activities with the fire department, THW (German Federal Agency for Technical Relief), or in emergency services
• You are proficient with Office 365; experience with Confluence or similar tools is a plus
• You are communicative, approach others openly, and have a good feel for your colleagues' concerns regarding HSE topics
• Hands-on mentality: You are happy to be involved both at your desk and directly on-site
• You speak German and English fluently and can communicate confidently in both languages
• You work in a structured and independent manner, bringing commitment and initiative
• Team spirit, reliability, and flexibility complete your profile
