Andres Industries AG is a defense company and manufacturer of high-quality military thermal imaging devices based in Berlin. Our products are used in safety-critical applications and are utilized worldwide by authorities and armed forces. At the same time, we also develop and produce systems for civilian areas of application and collaborate with international partner companies.

At our location on Weißenseer Weg, we operate a modern campus with relaxation rooms, a fitness area including showers, and an open campus kitchen.

To strengthen our development department, we are looking for a Working Student Application Development & Digitalization (m/f/d) in part-time, starting immediately. You will support us in the development of internal software solutions for the digitalization of business and production processes.

For employees from outside the area, we offer the opportunity to rent a room in our company-owned residential building near the location. A large garden provides a pleasant living environment.

Tasks

• You will support the development of internal software solutions for the digitalization of business and production processes

• You will participate in the development and further development of web applications and database connections

• You will support the integration of ERP systems, data sources, and interfaces (APIs)

• You will create and optimize evaluations, forms, and digital workflows

• You will assist in the analysis and documentation of existing processes and develop suggestions for improvement

• You will work closely with the specialist departments of Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Development

• You will accompany digitalization projects from conception to implementation

• You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with a software focus, or a comparable course of study

• You have initial knowledge in web development

• You have initial practical experience with JavaScript or TypeScript

• You possess basic knowledge of SQL and database systems

• You have a fundamental understanding of REST APIs and client-server architectures

• You work in a structured, careful, and independent manner

• You are interested in production processes, ERP systems, and industrial digitalization

• Very good German skills in spoken and written form (at least C1)

Desirable

• Initial experience with low-code platforms such as Appsmith, Power Apps, Budibase, or comparable solutions

• Basic knowledge in C# / .NET

• Experience with PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server

• Basic knowledge in handling Docker

• Interest in offline applications and synchronization concepts
