Student Assistant Application Development & Digitalization (m/w/d)

The Andres Industries AG is a defense company and manufacturer of high-quality military thermal imaging devices with its headquarters in Berlin. Our products are used in security-critical applications and are utilized worldwide by authorities and armed forces. At the same time, we develop and produce systems for civilian application areas and work together with international partner companies.

We operate a modern campus at our location on Weißenseer Weg, featuring relaxation rooms, fitness area including showers, as well as an open campus kitchen.

To strengthen our development department, we are currently looking for a part-time student assistant application development & digitalization (m/w/d). You will support us in developing internal software solutions for the digitalization of business and production processes.

Tasks

• You will support the development of internal software solutions for the digitalization of business and production processes
• You will work on the development and further development of web applications and database connections
• You will support the integration of ERP systems, data sources, and interfaces (APIs)
• You will create and optimize evaluations, forms, and digital workflows
• You will support the analysis and documentation of existing processes and develop improvement proposals
• You will work closely with the production, procurement, sales, and development departments
• You will accompany digitalization projects from concept to implementation

Qualification

• You are a registered student (m/w/d) of computer science, business informatics, technical informatics, electrical engineering with software reference or a comparable study program
• You have basic knowledge in web development
• You have first-hand practical experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• You possess basic knowledge in SQL and database systems
• You have a fundamental understanding of REST APIs as well as client-server architectures
• You work structured, carefully, and independently
• You are interested in production processes, ERP systems, and industrial digitalization
• You have very good German language skills in writing and speaking (at least C1)

Desirable

• First experiences with low-code platforms like Appsmith, Power Apps, Budibase or comparable solutions
• Basic knowledge in C# / .NET
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server
• Basic knowledge in handling Docker
• Interest in offline applications and synchronization concepts
