Werkstuden:in Research & Product Design (w/m/d)

Your Tasks

• You will improve the overall user experience of our website and the nebenan.de app based on the needs of our users.
• You will plan, conduct, and analyze user research campaigns (interviews, usability tests, surveys).
• You will work with large amounts of qualitative and quantitative user data, structure this data, and derive clear, actionable insights from it.
• You will prepare research results in a structured, understandable, and convincing manner for various stakeholders.
• You will be creative in developing ideas and solutions for the users of nebenan.de with
• You will design the future user experience in the form of wireframes, sitemaps, screenflows, or interactive prototypes.
• You will support the design of workshops with other designers, developers, and stakeholders.

Your Profile

• You are currently enrolled in a study program, with a focus on Product Design/UX Design / ideally in Media Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a comparable education.
• You have 16 – 20 hours per week available to support us.
• Better yet, you already have some practical experience in conceiving websites & apps and conducting user research.
• You enjoy thoroughly analyzing user needs and are not afraid to structure large amounts of qualitative or quantitative data.
• You work carefully, critically question results, and place great value on a clear, understandable argumentation for your insights.
• You bring German language skills at the native speaker level (C1/C2) and very good English language skills (from B2) in writing and speaking (due to a mixed international team composition).
• Your characteristics include curiosity, self-responsibility, and a high quality standard for your own work.
