Tasks

• Inspect, adjust, operate, and maintain process-specific testing equipment

• Prepare and carry out operational dimension checks of raw and mechanically processed products

• Prepare and carry out non-destructive material tests (visual inspection, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, or dye penetrant testing as applicable)

• Check markings of parts for clear identification or labeling according to customer requirements and correct them if necessary

• Perform minor rework on parts (e.g., for surface defects)

• Handling (transport) of testing-specific cast samples and workpieces

• Record and document measurement results in test certificates for the customer within the NDT qualification

• Prepare customer acceptances and carry them out within the scope of the existing NDT qualification

• Perform customer-specific special tests according to instructions within the scope of the existing NDT qualification

• Release products for delivery

• Create product group-specific testing instructions

• Participate in the continuous improvement of internal testing processes

• Comply with applicable work and testing-relevant procedure instructions for the tests mentioned above

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training, at least 3 years, in a specialized field as a Materials Tester or similar

• Ideally, at least Level 2 qualification in all NDT methods (visual inspection, magnetic particle testing, ultrasonic testing, and dye penetrant testing as applicable) with a valid certificate according to EN ISO 9712

• Ideally, authorization to operate floor-controlled crane systems and forklift trucks (forklift license and crane license according to DGUV)

• Several years of practical experience with various NDT methods

• Very good German language skills (C2) and solid English language skills (C1)
