We are ABSORA - a Deep-GreenTech startup in Berlin that is rewriting the rules for noise and vibration control with its technologies. Our material HSA3 is not a promise for the future - it is a revolution for lightweight construction, acoustics and filtration: light, super strong and acoustically brilliant, because it absorbs airborne sound and vibrations. In addition, it is inexpensive to manufacture and extremely environmentally friendly. This protects health, the environment and nerves.

This makes it the ideal material to strengthen the industry worldwide and make it more sustainable. For the construction of our production, we are looking for someone who really wants to build things - and not just talk about them. This is where you come in.

Tasks

Your Mission

You are the heart of our workshop. In direct collaboration with our development team, you bring our technology from paper to reality. Specifically, this means:

• Prototype construction & small series: You manufacture components from aluminum and stainless steel sheets and bring our HSA3 applications to life.
• Precise metalworking: You drill, cut, straighten and assemble metal parts with the utmost care and craftsmanship.
• Development support: You assist with the construction of samples and help us to constantly improve our products through practical feedback.
• Logistics & quality: You take care of the preparation and packaging of the components and ensure that they arrive safely at our customers or in the test laboratory.
• Construction assistance: You actively participate in the construction and organization of our workshop structure - your experience is in demand here!
• On-site deployment: Occasional deliveries and support during tests directly with the customer or in laboratories are part of your job.

Qualification

What you should bring with you

• Foundation: A completed apprenticeship in the metal sector (e.g. industrial mechanic, metalworker, precision mechanic or a comparable qualification).
• Experience: You have already gained sound experience in metal or sheet metal processing and work cleanly and in a structured manner.
• Mobility: You have a class B driving license and are willing to travel/travel to customers or partners occasionally.
• Hands-on mentality: We are not a corporation. You enjoy getting involved, trying things out and taking responsibility for your workpieces.
• Language: You communicate confidently in German to coordinate closely with the team.
• Plus points: If you already have experience with CNC machines, technical drawing (e.g. SolidWorks) or special prototype construction, this is a huge advantage - but not a must.
