Workshop Leader (m/w/d) Full-time (40h)

Tasks

Your tasks:

As Workshop Leader (m/w/d), you will take over the leadership and control of the entire workshop operation. You will ensure a high level of service quality and productivity, keep an eye on the profitability of the workshop, and ensure that customer requirements and safety and quality standards are consistently met.

Main tasks:

• Manages and coordinates the workshop operation to process customer inquiries and perform high-quality maintenance and repair work
• Creates work plans and assigns service technicians according to their expertise
• Lays out and monitors workflows and schedules by assigning and monitoring job orders
• Safeguards quality and safety standards as well as John Deere processes
• Safeguards productivity and utilization of the workshop through ongoing control of order progress and working hours
• Controls workshop profitability through economic order processing, correct calculation, and invoicing
• Safeguards customer satisfaction by clear communication, timely completion, and after-sales service Informs the superior level about the skills and training needs of the service technicians

Secondary tasks:

• Supports the implementation and application of John Deere diagnostic systems and customer service instruments in the workshop (e.g. Service ADVISOR)
• Supports coordination with customer service, spare parts, and sales at interfaces

Qualification

• Completed technical training (e.g. agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, truck mechanic) or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of experience in workshop or customer service field, ideally with a John Deere sales partner
• In-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry, technical maintenance and repair business
• Ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and management personnel.
• Organizational competence with an eye for details
• Experience in handling marketable computer applications and internet functions. Knowledge of John Deere products and those of third-party providers
• Presence at the Ragow-Merz location required
• Very good German language skills on C1 level in spoken and written form
• Good English language skills on B2 level, advantageous
