Job description
For over 25 years, WeSearch has specialized in recruiting skilled workers and executives for medium-sized companies. Our client is an established company in the energy-intensive process industry located in Southern Germany. We are seeking a technically sound leadership personality for the plant who will assume overall operational responsibility and successfully lead an organization with over 400 employees. We are looking for a Plant Manager who is present on the shop floor and understands production processes in depth.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the operational performance of the entire production plant.
- You will ensure efficient, stable, and high-quality production with high plant availability.
- You will anchor a culture of responsibility, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- You will ensure effective collaboration between production, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and other plant functions.
- You will ensure compliance with applicable standards in occupational safety, quality, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Several years of successful experience as a Plant Manager in a large industrial production organization with 400 or more employees.
- You are a down-to-earth personality with a convincing demeanor, possessing assertiveness with the necessary empathy to lead a team.
- Solid technical background with a deep understanding of production processes, plant technology, and energy efficiency.
- Strong competence in production management, operational excellence, process improvement, and performance management.
- Strong, appreciative personnel management with the ability to develop teams.
- A technical degree or engineering education is expressly desired.
- Fluent German and English language skills are a prerequisite.
