Site Manager

As a Site Manager for Infrastructure in the West Flanders region, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Designing the site setup;
• Drawing up and monitoring the planning of personnel, transport, and equipment;
• Training new colleagues;
• Checking levels and routes;
• Monitoring quality according to the specifications;
• Managing, leading, and motivating the site employees;
• Ensuring safety and implementing improvements according to VCA** procedures;
• Proposing technical optimizations that can help both the company and the client.

As a site manager, active in infrastructure and civil engineering, we are looking for someone with the following competencies:

• In possession of a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering.
• Ideally complemented by several years of experience in construction.
• A genuine interest in this fascinating sector of infrastructure is necessary, experience is not: sewer works, road works, etc.
• A good communicator with the necessary leadership skills.
• You consider safety paramount and ensure that your people also adhere to it.
• A certain flexibility is required to perform this role as a site manager well.
• A good knowledge of Dutch is important; knowledge of French is an asset.
