Welding engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and talented Welding engineer to join our production team. If you have experience in welding and are eager to develop your skills in a dynamic environment, then this position may be suitable for you.

Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of specific welding procedures
• SUPERVISION OF THE WELDING PROCESS AND ENSURING CONFORMITY WITH QUALITY STANDARDS
• Collaboration with the team to ensure the integrity of welded structures
• Identification and resolution of welding-related problems
• Responsibility for devices used on welding robots
• Optimization of welding parameters to increase efficiency and reduce rejects
• Programming and optimization of welding robot paths
• Preparation and updating of technical documentation (work instructions, parameter sheets)
• MONITORING OF PROCESS PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (DEFECTS, CYCLE TIMES, PRODUCTIVITY)
• Analysis of welding defects and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Collaboration with Quality and Maintenance departments to resolve technical issues
• Participation in ongoing process improvement projects

Requirements:

Prior experience in welding and solid knowledge in the field.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Creative problem-solving skills with efficiency.

Certification in welding is an advantage.

Ability to interpret technical drawings

Knowledge about metal materials and their behavior during welding

Experience in optimizing industrial processes

Analysis skills for non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions
