Welder – Heavy Fabrication / Screw Pile Manufacturing

Solidity Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team in Thomastown, Victoria. Solidity is a specialist Australian manufacturer and installer of helical and screw pile foundation systems used across civil, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This role is focused on the fabrication and welding of heavy screw pile components used in demanding structural and infrastructure applications. Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be required to carry out the following tasks: • Fabricate and weld heavy screw pile components to exacting standards; • Conduct quality control checks on all welds to ensure compliance with industry standards; • Work in a team environment to meet production deadlines and targets; • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes; • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: • 3+ years of experience in heavy fabrication and welding; • Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques; • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces; • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy components; • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
