Welder - Heavy Construction

Job Description: The ideal candidate will have experience in self shielded flux core arc welding of steel pipe piles and structural steel, and have a strong background in heavy construction. The work environment is almost entirely field based and welders will be called on to do a variety of other construction related tasks in between welding. This can include working with cranes, operating mobile equipment, and partaking in various other components of our work. Our aim is to train new hires into becoming skilled welders who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically fit, and have a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of safety protocols and be able to work in a team environment. The work schedule will be a combination of day and night shifts, and the candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy construction and have experience in self shielded flux core arc welding of steel pipe piles and structural steel.
