Job Duties:

Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking experienced Boilermaker/Welders to join our high performing team at our Eagle Farm Service Center.

Duties include:

• Fabricating and Welding steel components for plant and equipment.
• Repairing and maintaining plant and equipment.
• Inspecting work to locate defects.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Setting up and operating hand tools.
• Undertaking tasks involving specialist measuring equipment and hand tools.
• Preparing Joints and edges for welding
• Undertaking welding in accordance with industry and trade standards.
• Completing all records and paperwork accurately.

Qualification and skill:

• Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) or other equivalent trade qualifications plus three years’ experience.
• Demonstrated experience welding various grades of steel.
• Extensive experience with MIG welding equipment.
• Waste industry experience (desirable).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and following standard work procedures.

About the position:

This fulltime position offers:

• Above award rates with a wage of $79,000 to $81,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
