Fabricator / Welder

We are currently on the lookout for a welder to join the team in Masterton. They are looking for an experienced Welder to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be part of a supportive workshop environment producing high-quality service

About the role:

In this position, you will be responsible for the welding working with both steel and aluminum. You will be involved in ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. You will also work well in a team and individually

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication, welding and more
• MIG and TIG welding of aluminium and steel
• Reading and reviewing engineering drawings
• Maintaining a safe and tidy workshop environment
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to spec

What We're Looking For

• Experienced in fabrication and welding
• Experience working with steel and aluminum
• Strong industry skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Trade qualification (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent) desirable
