Weekend Catering Assistant

Location: ST16, Stafford

Hourly rate: £12.21P/H

Working hours: 07:00-12:00 or 15:00-20:00

Shifts: Saturday's&Sunday's

Contract type: Temporary

Start date: ASAP

We are currently looking for hard-working, enthusiastic people to join our client's team to work in a busy warehouse kitchen environment. This is a great opportunity, that offers ongoing weekend work. We are looking for individuals with previous experience in a catering environment. As a Catering Assistant role can be a great stepping stone into other roles within the hospitality and catering industry, or other areas of work.

As a Catering Assistant you will (Not limited to):

General assistant duties

Assisting those in the kitchen with you

Washing pots/pans/utensils

General food prep

Serving food at the counter in a canteen environment

Working front of house

Following all health and safety procedures

Keeping surfaces clean and tidy

Clearing tables

Operating tills

As a Catering Assistant you will have the following skills:

Able to work within a fast-paced environment

Great customer service skills

Able to work on Saturday's and Sunday's any of the working hours

Punctual

Excellent communication skills

Able to multi-task

Can work well within a team and independently

Can follow direct orders

Polite and friendly

Able to build good relationships

Travelling:

The right candidate needs to have their own transport. However, public transport is available - please ensure you check if that's somewhere you can get for the start/finish times to prior to applying.

Main requirements:

Food&Hygiene level 1 (we can process one for you for free)

Own transport

Previous catering experience

Knowledge of health and safety within a kitchen environment
