Your tasks

• Definition and design of application architectures in the domain and further development, integration, and migration of applications in this area

• Building up knowledge and documenting the customer's business goals and requirements

• Developing solution architectures that meet the customer's business requirements and optimize IT infrastructure and applications

• Documenting and communicating the solution architecture using standard architecture practices, patterns, and frameworks

• Identifying technical risks and developing solutions to reduce these risks

• Cooperation with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet the customer's business requirements and are implemented in accordance with the solution architecture

• Monitoring the development of solutions and, within the required expertise and according to the customer's specifications, ensuring that solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget

Must-have requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Architect for complex software solutions in scaled agile projects with multiple teams or in a comparable context, 5 years of practical experience in the CV

• Practical experience with Software AG webMethods Composite Application Framework (CAF), experience is documented in the CV

• At least 5 years of experience and knowledge in agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe, in projects with multiple teams, 5 years of practical experience in the CV

• Good English and German language skills in spoken and written form, proof of qualification at least level B2 (fluent language level, independent language use)

Can-have requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in problem-solving, including cause analysis, development, and evaluation of solution proposals, as well as self-directed work, 5 years of practical experience in the CV

• At least 5 years of experience and knowledge in project and process monitoring, e.g. with Jira / Arija and/or Confluence, 5 years of practical experience in the CV

• Knowledge and experience in communication and moderation skills for coordinating with interface partners, 5 years of practical experience in the CV

• Knowledge and experience with AWS services (preferably EKS, RDS/Aurora, SQS, S3) as well as infrastructure-as-code (preferably Helm), experience documented in the CV

• Knowledge and experience with testing frameworks for Java and JavaScript (JUnit 5, Mock-Frameworks, Selenium, JMeter, Cypress.io) as well as web security (OpenID Connect, SSL), experience documented in the CV

• Knowledge and experience with JavaScript/frameworks and technologies (TypeScript, Node.js, JSON, Angular) as well as databases, preferably PostgreSQL, experience documented in the CV

Further information

The place of performance of the service is Frankfurt am Main; it is planned to perform the service from within Germany; a split between remote work and on-site (at the customer's project location) is possible.
