Q World, an international publisher with an international editorial office and further areas of focus such as Q Service in Amsterdam, Switzerland, USA, Europe is expanding its team. The main title of the publishing house, the lifestyle magazine Q the Magazine www.q-media.world, formerly Quality, is growing in the international market in both print and digital media. The magazine is one of the oldest lifestyle titles, dating back to 1957, and realizes innovative, multimedia formats for the German and international market.

A long history is hidden behind the magazine. Already 57 years ago, in 1957, the Quality Magazine first appeared with Audrey Hepburn on the cover. The current issue reveals the secret behind the Quality Magazine. The format has since evolved into a unisex lifestyle magazine and offers a unique format with 11 sections/editorial departments, covering everything from fashion to food. It continues the stories behind the stories.

For the expansion of our various new web & AI presences nationally & internationally, we are looking for motivated support in the area of Web & Online Programming / AI and Design as soon as possible for the Remote location. A diverse, motivated, and creative team awaits you with interesting development opportunities, perspectives, and the chance to contribute and implement your own ideas.

Tasks

• Professional experience in the digital world - AI and/or comparable activities, preferably also in the media/advertising industry, or studies in the industry. Web-affine career changers are also very welcome here.

• Very good market knowledge in the exclusive brand and lifestyle segment

• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting

• Confident and serious demeanor, as well as resilience and flexibility

• High sense of responsibility, strong communication skills, and negotiation skills

• Enjoy interacting with people

• Good IT skills

• Very good English skills

• Creation of websites and their integration into CMS systems

• Creation and optimization of landing pages

• Continuous further development, updating, and maintenance of web applications

• Optimization regarding performance, UI/UX, SEM, and for different end devices

Requirements

• General understanding of technologies and interrelationships in web development, especially WordPress

• Knowledge of HTML(5), CSS(3), Bootstrap is an advantage

• Joomla!, TYPO3, / C++

• Improvement of UI/UX

• Good insights into web design and web performance

• Initial experience with JavaScript, PHP, MySQL

• SASS, Task Runner (e.g., Gulp), Git is an advantage (or willingness to learn)
