Web Developer

The Company

We're bringing our website development and management in-house - and we're looking for a Web Developer to lead the transformation. You'll take full ownership of our online presence, from designing and developing a high-performing, responsive website to optimising it for speed, usability, and SEO.
This is a hands-on, full-stack role that blends technical know-how with creative flair. You'll work closely with our marketing and design team to bring ideas to life, all while making sure the site doesn't crash, break, or bore anyone.

The Role

• Overhaul and redesign our current website - front-end, back-end, UX, performance - the works.
• Build new pages, features, and integrations using best-fit platforms and technologies; Take vague "make it pop" ideas and turn them into functioning, aesthetically pleasing pages.
• Manage and update web content in line with marketing campaigns and business needs; Collaborate with internal teams (design, marketing, IT) to align the website with business goals.
• Optimise the site for page speed, SEO, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Monitor website performance and uptime; implement upgrades and security patches as needed.

Your Profile

• A web development portfolio & proven experience. Ideally, front-end coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with CMS platforms - ideally WordPress and/or Shopify (but you tell us what's best).
• Familiarity with frameworks like React or similar is a bonus.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and accessibility standards; Good eye for design - bonus if you've got graphic design chops.
• SEO know-how and experience implementing best practices.
