Web designer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand the needs, goals, and vision for the website.
• Develop visual representations of the website layout, structure, and user flow using design software.
• Building clickable prototypes to show the basic look, feel, and functionality before development begins.
• Select appropriate colour schemes, fonts, and visual elements that align with the websites brand.
• Ensure a clean and organized layout that guides users through the content effectively.
• Design websites that work well on multiple devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile
• phones.
• Create or select appropriate images, icons, buttons, and other elements to enhance the site.
• Ensure images and other visual elements are optimized for fast loading times without compromising quality
• Ensure the design works as intended after being coded and make any necessary adjustments.
• Keep websites up to date with fresh designs or tweak existing ones to improve performance.
• Fix any design-related problems that arise after the site goes live.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

• Basic understanding of SEO and performance optimization
• Knowledge of design tools: Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
• Bachelor/Master’s degree or a related study and experience
• Experience required 1-2 years preferred
