Web, Backend & Infrastructure Developer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Backend (Focus)

• You build APIs and monoliths with web interfaces – mostly with Ruby on Rails for us
• Node or PHP? You know that too, if the project demands it

Infrastructure

• You set up and keep systems and infrastructure running: Kubernetes, Docker, Cloudflare – everything on point

Web

• React, Astro, Tailwind – you build web components that load quickly and look good
• SEO, Performance, Accessibility: not an afterthought, but considered from day one
• CMS is secondary for you – if necessary, Payload or custom build

And then there's the agency day-to-day: building and maintaining n8n automations, connecting APIs of internal tools like Asana, Grafana, or Google APIs. Not the core business, but just as important – and you tackle it just as carefully.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Node and/or PHP experience is a plus
• Kubernetes, Docker, Cloudflare – or comparable cloud/container tools – are familiar to you
• Solid JS/TS knowledge, experience with React, Astro, Tailwind
• You have SEO, Performance, and Accessibility in your blood
• CMS topics are secondary – if anything, Payload or custom developments
• Taking responsibility instead of ticking off tickets – that's your thing
• You see problems before someone has to show them to you
• Mistakes happen – you learn from them and share the learnings with the team
• Thinking along, co-creating: explicitly welcome
• All-rounder: changing stacks and projects appeal to you instead of stressing you out
• You use AI tools, especially Claude, purposefully for speed & quality – control over code and decisions remains with you
• AI, AI Coding, Agents, Automation – your thing even in private
