Water Engineer – Consulting Industry – R720K – R540K

RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established and reputable civil engineering consulting firm in South Africa, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Water Engineer to join their dynamic team in Durban as soon as possible. Responsibilities: Design, analyse, and manage water resource systems such as water supply, stormwater, wastewater, and irrigation systems. Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modelling Develop and evaluate design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations. Perform site investigations and assessments. Prepare technical reports and presentations. Collaborate with other engineers and project team members. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration is highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in water engineering. Strong knowledge of water resource management principles. Proficiency in relevant software such as hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM), AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
