You will get to know the technical work areas of Berliner Wasserbetriebe and apply your professional experience directly in practice. How the program works

The internship program takes place from 12/01/2026 to 05/31/2027. Three days a week, you will work at Berliner Wasserbetriebe and get to know our work areas.

In addition, our cooperation partner will support you with offers that make it easier for you to start your career in Germany. This way, you can gain practical experience, improve your German skills, and prepare step by step for an application at Berliner Wasserbetriebe.

During your practical days, you will work in an area that matches your qualifications, experience, and interests.

Possible tasks include:

• Operation and monitoring of systems
• Maintenance and upkeep
• Trouble analysis and troubleshooting
• Technical field service / network operation
• Logistics activities

To start, you will get to know Berliner Wasserbetriebe at a welcome event and receive all important information for your entry.

Throughout the entire program, a dedicated contact person will accompany you, supporting you in your daily work and assisting you with any questions.

• Technical or craft-based training, e.g., in electrical engineering, metal processing, environmental technology, or logistics

• You already live in Germany.
• You ideally have German language skills at level B2.
• A driver's license class B is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• In some areas of deployment, you are willing to work in shifts.
• You want to establish yourself professionally in Germany and develop further both technically and linguistically.

Together with our cooperation partner, we will accompany you on your professional journey in Germany.

Language Training
You will improve your German skills for professional life and gain more confidence in speaking and writing.

Support with Authorities
You will receive support with important applications and appointments, for example, with the recognition of your professional qualifications or with necessary translations.

Job Coaching
You will prepare your application documents, practice job interviews, and get to know the working methods and corporate culture of Berliner Wasserbetriebe.
