Warehouse Worker

Humangest Spa, a subsidiary of Gallarate, seeks a warehouse worker for an important multinational company in the metalmechanics sector. The resource will be inserted within the logistics department and will be responsible for the following activities:

• Unloading merchandise from couriers and related control, registration of documentation, identification, and storage in suitable areas;
• Ensuring optimal distribution of spaces based on arrivals and expected uses;
• Picking up merchandise from identified locations and preparing pallets for internal production or supplier utilization;
• Fine packaging and labeling for shipment to suppliers and third parties;
• Loading and positioning merchandise onto company, customer, or courier vehicles;
• Verifying inventory levels as well as rotating or end-of-period inventories.

Requirements:

• Necessary experience in the role in industrial production contexts;
• Valid mule patent;
• Good manual skills with a front-end and preferably also retractable mule;
• Necessary knowledge and use of warehouse software (SAP, Navision, Panthera, AS400...);
• Availability for 2 shifts and occasional overtime as needed;
• Good communication and organizational skills;
• Inspirational spirit and proactivity;
• Collaboration and ability to work in a team;
• Seriousness, precision, punctuality, and reliability.

Contract:

• Initial 6-month contract through an agency or direct with the company for a fixed-term employment purpose;
• CNA Metalmechanics Industry collective agreement with a salary range of €26-30K based on previous experiences, 13 months, internal meal and corporate welfare.

Work schedule:

• Full-time from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for the first few days, then 2 shifts (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) from Monday to Friday with occasional overtime;
