Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods. * Ensure the efficient and accurate handling of inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing loss. * Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures. * Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. * Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities. * Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to optimize supply chain processes. * Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. * Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies. Requirements: * Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Excellent organizational and time management abilities. * In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution processes. * Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices. * Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS). * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Grade 12 or equivalent. * Relevant qualification in logistics or supply chain management (advantageous).
