Warehouse Superintendent Reporting To Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager Job Purpose To supervise daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on achieving and maintaining 100% stock accuracy , ensuring that all stock movements are accurately recorded in SYSPRO , and that all stock is stored in the correct bin locations , while maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and space utilization . Key Responsibilities Stock Control & Accuracy Ensure all stock movements (receipts, issuances, transfers) are accurately recorded in SYSPRO and that all stock is stored in the correct bin locations. Verify and reconcile stock levels daily to ensure 100% accuracy. Inventory Management Manage inventory levels to optimize storage capacity and minimize waste. Conduct regular cycle counts to identify discrepancies and take corrective action. Warehouse Operations Ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Coordinate with warehouse staff to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Safety & Housekeeping Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored. Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement. Space Utilization Optimize storage capacity by ensuring all stock is stored in the correct bin locations. Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Reporting & Analysis Provide accurate and timely reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, stock movements, and performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Communication & Teamwork Collaborate with warehouse staff to achieve common goals. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders. Provide guidance and training to ensure all staff are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
