Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Job Description Shift: 4ON 4OFF Nights - 18:00pm-06:00am. Salary: £33,000 per annum - £35,000 per annum. As a Shift Supervisor you will contribute to the success of the site by supporting the Shift Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety within the Warehouse are maintained and product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in order to meet contractual KPI’s. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for ensuring that Health & Safety within the Warehouse are maintained and product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in order to meet contractual KPI’s. This includes but not limited to: Conducting regular audits of the warehouse to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Identifying and reporting any potential hazards or near misses, Providing support and guidance to warehouse operatives on Health & Safety procedures, Maintaining accurate records of incidents and accidents, Ensuring all warehouse operatives are trained in Health & Safety procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for ensuring that product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in order to meet contractual KPI’s. This includes but not limited to: Coordinating with Warehouse Operatives to ensure efficient picking and dispatching of products, Monitoring and controlling inventory levels, Maintaining accurate records of stock movements, Ensuring all warehouse operatives are trained in product handling procedures. KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Essential Requirements: Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role, Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Desirable Requirements: Warehouse management experience, Knowledge of inventory control systems, Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
